Ubasti Studio Origins

Marci’s journey into jewelry making began with a deep, curiosity about the world around her. Having traveled to almost 40 countries, Marci became fascinated with the various ways different cultures express individuality and beauty through self adornment. This fascination blossomed into a passion for experimenting with different textures, shapes, and colors. As she delved deeper into the craft, Marci realized that jewelry was more than just an accessory. It became a powerful means of self-expression, a way to reflect emotions, moods, and personality.

With an eye for detail and a love of variety, Marci embraces various techniques and styles, drawing inspiration from nature, art, and cultures around the world. She crafts everything from minimalist designs to bold, statement pieces, understanding that each design could speak to the wearer in a unique way. From creating a two toned chain lariat necklace with Swarovski crystals or a bold pair of earrings to express joy, Marci sees jewelry as a bridge between one's inner self and the outside world.

Through her pieces, Marci aims to empower others to showcase their unique identity, mood, and personality. She believes that the right piece of jewelry can transform a day, express one’s essence, and bring out the beauty within. For Marci, jewelry making is not just about creating beautiful objects — it’s about crafting meaningful experiences that resonate deeply with the wearer. “Ubasti” or “Bastet” is the Egyptian feline goddess who is associated with healing, movement and joy, which she hopes are felt by all that wear her creations.
